A healthy gut is a happy gut. Some of you may not even know that we have a large number of bacteria cells in our bodies. Specifically, a massive percentage of these bacteria live in our gut (intestines) and are referred to as our “gut microbiome.” There are so many of these bacteria, in fact, that on a cell-by-cell basis we are 99% bacteria and only 1% human.
